Bealby Point
In a world full of micro-influencers, digital grifters, and spon-con hucksters, Vancouver quartet Bealby Point offers a simple promise: what you see is what you get. All the members - Jack Armstrong, Jordan Studer, and Zack Yeager - hail from the same coastal neighbourhood of Deep Cove, and the band name itself comes from their favourite beachside spot. Formed in 2018, the indie rockers have built a sterling reputation thanks to their electric live performances and intricate, approachable songwriting. Drawing inspiration from alt-rock icons including Peach Pit, Spacey Jane, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the boys' signature sound centres on big hooks, big summer vibes, and even bigger grooves.
Brotherly love is the basis for everything Bealby Point does, and their recent sessions are no exception. Produced by trusted sound engineer JJ Heath and recorded at the small but stylish Phony Records studio, the band's new material bridges the gap between fantasy and nostalgia, with frontman Armstrong offering a cinematic perspective on the passing of time. Since 2022 they have played sold-out shows across Canada, winning a legion of new followers as they journey towards their debut full-length record. With a renewed sense of purpose, Bealby Point wants nothing more than to sit back and enjoy the ride. They hope you will join them.
