Quickness
Quickness (Alternative, Rock, Reggae) are known for legendary live performances. One minute you’re bouncing to a punk rock song shouting choruses, the next they’re breaking it down with an acoustic guitar, dancing under the sun to a reggae groove and everyone’s singing.
The music is family friendly, and the band is focused on crowd interaction, getting crowds dancing and singing and creating a friendly fun atmosphere.
Quickness and their singer Jacob Dryden are the recipients of 6 international Radio awards, and several editorial top ten album nominations.
They have released 3 full length albums, several music videos and have performed about 800 Shows in Canada since their inception in 2009.
The latest Quickness single "Sleepless Nights” was released in June 2025, and is currently in high rotation on FM Radio across Canada, collectively netting the band more than 1000 plays on FM radio in Canada since November 2024.
The band’s previous single “Paradise” premiered on Evolution 107.9 in Vancouver and was quickly added to medium rotation on stations in BC, Ontario and Quebec.
“Daydream" premiered on January 20 2022 by 102.7 The Peak in Vancouver coinciding with the release of the music video. Daydream continues to be played on a number of stations across Canada and is a fan favourite.
Quickness are well known for doing both original music and covering their favourite artists. The band also has a repertoire of several cover songs.
In addition to their festival and concert appearances, Quickness has also appeared on Live Television, in major motion pictures, made for TV movies, half-time performances for major sporting events.
